BRITISH INVASION IN RED BANK TO BENEFIT PEOPLE WHO ARE BLIND AND DISABLED
AUGUST 3, 2014 – A concert benefiting the Nonprofit Organization “HOUSING AND UNITED SERVICES, INC.”Show will be held on August 3rd featuring the Broadway production of “BEATLEMANIA STAGE SHOW” AT 3:00 PM. AT TWO RIVER THEATER, 21 BRIDGE AVENUE, RED BANK, NJ 07701: $37.00 General Admission, $50.00 Reserved Seating. The doors will open at 2:00 pm with showtime from 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm featuring a two hour performance by the Beatlemania Stage Show. This is a family friendly event, appropriate for the audiences of all ages. Raffle tickets and concession will be available for purchase before the show. Housing and United services, Inc. (HUS) is a local Non Profit 501 C3 organization assisting New Jersey residents who are blind and disabled. HUS provides advocacy services, multi media transcription, housing information consultation, adjustment to vision loss services, comprehensive information and referral services, and much more. HUS provides specialized advocacy services to children who are blind and their families, particularly in the area of educational services. HUS is excited to announce the development of two group homes through HUD Section 811 funding and the donation of two plots of land by Middletown Township that will be specifically designed to meet the needs of individuals who have a developmental disability and are blind or visually impaired. These two group homes will provide the opportunity for eight individuals to have affordable community living housing with all the necessary support services they may need. HUS advocates for and serves people who are blind and disabled with the sole purpose of providing the essential services necessary to provide the opportunity to lead more independent and productive lives in today's society. HUS has been a Lions State Approved Project since 2001 and is supported by the Lions clubs of New Jersey. 100% of the funds raised through this event directly benefits these blind and disabled New Jersey residents who are in need of these services. Housing and United services, Inc. was incorporated in 1990 in New Jersey and is operated by an all-volunteer staff that have professional backgrounds in service delivery for people who are blind and disabled. The Beatlemania Stage Show features an all-star cast in one incredible evening of music and fun! Performing all of the popular Beatles hits, ranging from She Loves You to Yellow Submarine to Revolution. The show spans the entire story of The Beatles in one magical, family friendly show. The cast members appear in full authentic Ed Sullivan suits, silk Sgt. Pepper uniforms and Abbey Road styled apparel. The production features two full hours of Beatles music all performed live on stage with authentic instruments. Throughout the afternoon, concessions will be available for purchase. There will also be a Gift Auction featuring great prizes including: Seastreak Ferry passes, Lakewood Blueclaws tickets, and baskets and gift cards from several local businesses and restaurants! Tickets for a Super 50/50 raffle will also be available for purchase. ALL proceeds from the event are used to benefit Housing and United Service, Inc.
